SAN PEDRO OR WACHUMA 03 CEREMONIES + VOLCANIC WATER (ANCIENT TECHNIQUES ARE PRIOR COORDINATION)
In Peru the San Pedro or Wachuma is a columnar cactus that is part of various magical and religious manifestations dating from pre-Hispanic times with cultures such as: Chavín (1,200 - 200 b.C.), Paracas (300 - 0 b.C.), Nazca (100 a.C. - 700 a.C.), Mochica (200 - 700 a.C.), Chimú (1,100 - 1,470 a.C.) and Inka (1,438 -1,532 a.C.); hence the representations in craftsmanship in general. These ceremonies are performed until today.
It is believed that the name of Saint Peter refers to the connection with divine sources, because it has the name of the Christian saint who guards the gates of heaven (Saint Peter); The name Wachuma in Quechua means dizzy or drunk. The scientific name of the San Pedro or Wachuma is Echinopsis pachanoi.
Therapeutic Use:
In Peru the San Pedro or Wachuma is used by shamans who use it to cure the ills of patients such as: Alcoholism, depression among others; just as it is also used by shamans to heal the soul; which indicates that The functions of a shaman are not restricted to physical evils. The aim of the shaman in his healing ritual is to make the patient flourish with the ceremony, to make the subconscious open. ANCIENT TECHNIQUES OR CEREMONIES (OPTIONAL):
For San Pedro or Wachuma ceremony it is important to detect problems and know their status through the different techniques performed before and after the San Pedro or Wachuma ceremony; different techniques that are used to make the ceremony more effective, and it has professional staff specially prepared for these ceremonies at all times (experienced translator and shaman). You can perform the San Pedro or Wachuma ritual with all its techniques or do the techniques individually.
For this ceremony it will be necessary to follow a diet free of meat (especially pork), fats and beverages that contain caffeine. A fruit-based diet would be ideal. Stop scientific medicine days before the San Pedro or Wachuma ceremony.
The day before the ceremony, you can request to drink Volcanic Water, to cleanse your body of impurities and being better prepare for the ceremony.
DAY 01: For the four-day San Pedro or Wachuma ritual, you must fast and drink only water. We will pick you up from your accommodation at a coordinated time (07:30 a.m.) and then go to the ceremonies center located one hour from the city of Cusco or to the SACSAYHUAMAN area, in the upper part of the city of Cusco, a quiet place with a high concentration of energy, ideal for this type of ceremonies; After some time to get comfortable, we will begin with the Coca Leaves reading ceremony, we will continue with the Energy Cleaning ceremony; After these techniques there will be a brief time to relax and meditate. At 09:00 a.m. we will begin with the San Pedro or Wachuma Ceremony; in which the Master Shaman will make prayers to ask the sacred plant for permission to be in balance with nature, then we will proceed to drink the San Pedro, relax and walk enjoying the environment full of energy; while the master shaman prays and sings (Icaros) to nature. After the ceremonies you can have a conversation with the Master Shaman to share experiences and interpret the visions. After this, a special diet will be carried out and it will begin with the return to the city of Cusco (Hotel or Retreat Center), arriving at approximately 4:00 p.m.
DAY 02: We will pick you up from your accommodation at a coordinated time (07:30 a.m.) and then go back to the SACSAYHUAMAN area, taking another destination in the area, a quiet place with a high concentration of energy, ideal for this type of ceremonies; After some time to settle in (relax and meditate), we will begin with the San Pedro or Wachuma Ceremony; in which the Master Shaman will make prayers to ask the sacred plant for permission to be in balance with nature, then we will proceed to drink the San Pedro, relax and walk enjoying the environment full of energy; while the master shaman prays and sings (Icaros) to nature. After the ceremony you can have a conversation with the Master Shaman to share experiences and interpret the visions. After this, a special diet will be carried out and it will begin with the return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:00 p.m.
DAY 03: This third day will be basically Relaxation and Meditation.
DAY 04: We will pick you up from your accommodation at a coordinated time (07:30 a.m.) and then go back to the SACSAYHUAMAN area, taking another destination in the area, a quiet place with a high concentration of energy, ideal for this type of ceremonies; After some time to settle in (relax and meditate), we will begin with the San Pedro or Wachuma Ceremony; in which the Master Shaman will make prayers to ask the sacred plant for permission to be in balance with nature, then we will proceed to drink the San Pedro, relax and walk enjoying the environment full of energy; while the master shaman prays and sings (Icaros) to nature. Then follows the Ceremony of thanks to Pachamama; to then conclude the ceremony with a Flowering Bath. After the ceremonies you can have a conversation with the Master Shaman to share experiences and interpret the visions. After this, a special diet will be carried out and it will begin with the return to the city of Cusco (Hotel), arriving at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Notes:
The San Pedro or Wachuma ritual can last from 4 to 6 hours.
