Ayahuasca is a Quechua word that means “vine of the spirits”. Ayahuasca is a sacred plant, considered magical and medicinal, it is part of the so-called master plants. Ayahuasca is a brew used ritually by shamans, healers or ayahuasca teachers, from Amazonian ethnic groups, with more than five thousand years of knowledge. It is a way to obtain the expansion of consciousness (healing and spiritual reflection), because you connect with the universe and nature. Ayahuasca is not a drug, it is spiritual life, it is a gift from the gods. Ayahuasca is a teacher because it is hard with her teaching but she does it with love, it opens your interior and awakens your being and you are born again; with Ayahuasca you always lose the battle to be reborn stronger, more alive and in communion with life itself. A true inner happiness, because medicine cleanses and heals wounds and scars on the soul; purifies the blood and frees you from diseases (depression and stress; diabetes, kidney stones, among others). You learn to value your life better, you understand your past better, you live better in the present and you project yourself better into the future.
For this ceremony it will be necessary to follow a diet free of meat (especially red meat), fats and beverages that contain caffeine. A fruit-based diet would be ideal. Stop scientific medicine days before the Ayahuasca ceremony. (The Ayahuasca ritual ceremony can last from 4 to 7 hours).
