INKA TRAIL TO MACHU PICCHU - 04 DAYS
The Inka Trails are a communication system that allowed the Inkas to travel from one place to another. This complex network of roads stretches from southern Colombia to northern Argentina. There are several Inka trails, but one that stands out is the famous Inka Trail to Machu Picchu, which connects the Sacred Valley of the Inkas with the citadel of Machu Picchu. On this trek, you can enjoy beautiful landscapes and visit various Inka sites.
AVAILABILITY OF THE INkA TRAIL TO MACHU PICCHU:
We organize tours to Machu Picchu via the famous Inka Trail from March to January. Our recommended fixed departure times are from April to November. Before and after these months are considered the rainy season. We have a strict limit on the number of visitors we can take on the Inka Trail; the number of people allowed to hike the Inka Trail is 500 per day. Please note that more than half of this number are workers (guides, porters, and cooks). With this in mind, we recommend booking this trip well in advance (at least 6 months).
Peru Mysteries offers you the ease of visiting Cusco and its surroundings in a short time, which means that you will not lose anything of this magical place in your visit. come and enjoy this mysterious place with us.

DAY 01 (CUSCO - PISCAKUCHU KM 82 - HUAYLLABAMBA): Our trek to Machupicchu through the classic "Inca Trail" begins at your hotel, from where we will pick you up between 5:30 and 6:00 in the morning. From there and with the guide we will be transferred for about 2 or 2.5 hours to Piscakuchu (km. 82), our starting point for this wonderful walk. In Piscakucho there is also the first checkpoint, where we will present all the documents (Inca Trail permits and your original passport), to allow us to officially enter the Inca Trail to Machupicchu. After the checkpoint, we will start our walk for approximately 2 hours to Miskay, where our team (porters and cooks) are waiting for us with a hearty lunch. This part of the route is almost flat and has beautiful landscapes (we will enjoy the incredible flora). After Miskay, we will walk another 2 hours until we reach Wayllabamba (3,010 masl.), where we will camp. We will arrive at our campsite around 5:00 p.m.; and there we will enjoy a good dinner.
