The Inca Trails are a communication system that allowed the Incas to travel from one place to another. This complex network of roads stretches from southern Colombia to northern Argentina. There are several different Inca trails, but the Lares Trek to Machu Picchu is considered one of the best treks in the world (National Geographic Adventure Magazine). This is all thanks to its unique geographical location and stunning natural beauty. Mountains reaches an altitude of 6,271 meters above sea level and has cold weather conditions.
AVAILABILITY OF MACHU PICCHU ENTRY:
We organize tours to Machu Picchu via the Lares Trek from March to January. Our recommended fixed departure times are from April to November. Before and after these months are considered the rainy season. We have a strict limit on the number of visitors we can take on this route, and entry to Machu Picchu is limited per day.
